Lemon & honey 

Honey  has antibacterial properties, drawing water out of inflamed tissue which reduces swelling and discomfort.  Add it to boiling water with lemons or eat it.

Vitamin C is boosting your immune system and can fight off infection, you can have it naturally or through fruits, such as oranges.

Saltwater gargle every hour, as salt is drawing water out of mucous membranes in the throat.
